Musée des pompiers

This building was constructed in 1904-1905 by the City of St. Louis at Mile End.

The organization, probably unique in Canada at the time, had set itself the goal of being useful to the Montreal Fire Department (then headed by Director Raymond E. Paré), but more particularly of assisting firefighters on the scene of disasters.
